Description
The upgrade of the Rainforest Kidz World Amphitheatre and Carousel at Singapore Zoo introduced lightweight, translucent PTFE tensile membrane roofs to provide effective shelter from rain, sun, and UV exposure while maintaining natural daylight. Completed in 2010, the amphitheatre features a 45m clear-span, 1,000m² tensile roof, while the adjacent carousel was enhanced with a 22m-diameter conical canopy incorporating natural ventilation for improved comfort.
