Description

Taking inspiration from the abstract form of mountain peaks, this canopy is designed with a sweeping curve that wraps around the site in a continuous, elegant motion. The structure uses a tensile PTFE membrane, tensioned at the beams rather than the perimeter frame, creating a visually lightweight form that blends effortlessly into the lush surroundings. Designed to harmonise with nature, the curve gently flows around an existing tree, preserving the site’s character while establishing a distinctive architectural identity atop Mount Faber Peak. Integrated lighting adds to the ambience, bringing the canopy to life after sunset.
